PMS/PAS systems used in hospitals collect data about patients, their treatments and movements throughout the hospital. SMR national data are generated from the data entered into these systems. To ensure that system suppliers conform to the SMR national data standards ISD has an integral role in supporting Boards and suppliers in meeting these requirements/standards
