SMR Completeness

Definition of SMR Completeness

NHS data providers will know how complete their SMR submissions are and the extent of any backlog. SMR data is expected to be received by ISD 6 weeks (42 days) following the end of the month of discharge / clinic date. ISD calculates backlog as data which is received after 6 weeks following the end of the month of discharge / clinic date.

SMR Completeness Estimates

The following file provides NHS Board level summaries for SMR00, SMR01 SMR02 and SMR04.

Quarterly data - previous 4 quarters
Financial years - Apr 12 onwards
Calendar years - 2013 onwards
